Katrina Antoine is 17. She was born in Vancouver and moved to Fort St. James when she was 5, where she lives now.

Amy Bird is 16 and was born and raised in Fort St. James. Her hobbies include playing lots of sports and hanging out with friends.

Julia Boswell , notorious femme fatal from Vancouver, has just completed her first video production. She is very fond of weird movies and has a terrible phobia of anything Disney. She's also quite fond of the surrealists.

Kailey Carruthers was born in Vancouver, raised in Chilliwack, and Maple Ridge and currently lives in Williams Lake. She loves watching movies, music with good beats, and chillin' with friends. Her dream is to become a digital animator and be involved in the "word of the day" show. She loves her parents and even her brother to bits.

Carrie Classen is a youthful Campbell River resident who was born and raised in the Vancouver Tri-cities. She has been intensely involved in media since 8th grade. Many of her pieces have been seen on her secondary school's daily morning announcement (Timberline Student Netowrk -TSN). She enjoys working in the fast food industry, playing Lacrosse, and being an all around goofball. She hopes to pursue a career in Television Broadcasting.

Chantelle Davis Chantelle belongs to the Nisgaa Nation. She is 19 yrs old and hopes to one day be a Director, writer and a D.O.P. During Smoke Screen she learned about the evil things tobacco companies do to get people to smoke. She also learned how much work goes into the making a 30 second commercial!! Katie Ellwood is a young girl from Vernon, British Columbia. She has been creating mini films for 2 years mainly using Final Cut Pro. Katie hopes to further her education in film in the years to come.

Celina E. Hartley is 17 years old. She was born in Ontario and now lives in Fort Nelson, British Columbia. This was her first film endeavor.

Stefani Horvath is 18 years old and she comes from Kelowna, BC. This is her first experience with Access to Media Education Society or GIFTS, but she has experience in front of the camera, which she discovered she prefers.

Brieanne Johl is 16 years old and lives in Vancouver. She plans on becoming a stop motion animator.

Azmina Karimi from Coquitlam is a lover of music, from writing to singing it, and from playing and dancing to listening to it. She has just completed her second video production, the first one relating to the issue of poverty. The art of music and theatre inspires her to continue doing this.

Jane Leung is from Port Coquitlam. This is the first film she has ever made. By day Jane is a restaurant chef and by night she makes films.

Alix Mackay is a young filmmaker from North Vancouver. Her first film, Café, was a super 8 exploration of human nature. Alix also does photography and plans to further her studies in film, with an eventual goal of working as a director.

Amelie Maisonneuve is 19 years old. She was raised in Whitehorse in Yukon. She is half French and half Northern Tutchone first Nation. She graduated in 2001 and is currently working.

Veronica Milburn was born in Prince George and still lives there. She is very interested in photography and is currently pursuing a career in acting.

Jessica Michell lives in Hazelton.

Danica Reid was raised in Langley and born in Surrey. She works at Shoppers Drug Mart and likes to watch hockey and go to the games. She would like to work on movie sets and become a cameraperson.

Jamie Lee Roberts is a 19-year-old 'dooge' from Whitehorse, Yukon.

Pahnia Sebelius turned 18 just after this program ended. She lives in both Victoria and on Galiano Island. This is the second film she has made and she work in some capacity in the film industry. Maybe it will be the cord-wrapper-inspired by Cease.

Rebecca Simonetti is 18 years old and live in Deep Cove in North Vancouver. This is the fourth time she has been at GIFTS. Rebecca is interested in film and media and was one of the creators of the multi-award winning GIFTS' film Caellesthetics. In her spare time Rebecca plays guitar and paints.

Jenna Willie Stavroff is 19 years old and hailed from Vancouver Island (Qualicum Beach). She is excited to add this ad to her experience palette.

Yana Stratemeyer-Trinczek lives in Duncan, British Columbia and has been making films for 3 1/2 years. This is her last year of high school. After graduating she intends to focus her energy on becoming a documentary film producer.

Kara Vance is 18 and from Whitehorse, Yukon. She likes to play basketball and volleyball and is currently in grade 12.

Juliana Wimbles is a young filmmaker and actor from North Vancouver who has won awarded in writing, acting and best narrative for her film "silenced" she plans on continuing her endeavors behind and in front of the camera as a career.
